I am Lisa M. Jarratt. I am an artist based in Aurora, Colorado, with a deep passion for capturing the beauty of nature and historical architecture through painting and photography. My artistic journey began in small-town Iowa, where she developed a love for exploring backroads and farms, finding inspiration in the surrounding landscapes. Currently residing in the Denver metropolitan area, I seize every opportunity to explore the diverse natural wonders of Colorado.
Art is my life’s passion and what I wanted to be when I grew up. Life got in the way for many years as I was a floral designer, taught preschoolers and older children art projects, quilted, cut my families hair, and am now a graphic artist for my day job.
Here I am, all grown up with kids and grandkids. With a lifelong dedication to the arts it is finally time to find my niche with art because it was what I wanted to do when I grew up. I dusted off my camera, bought some new paint and brushes, and got creative with my fine arts side. I am using mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, ink, and even incorporating 3-D effects with joint compound as I explore and develop my unique artistic style. Hold on to your hats and join me on this my adventure!
